Madeline is teaches poetry New York City and is writing a book about northern Alaska. I ran into her in Fuel, a cafe in Great Barrington, MA where she asked me to write a poem (www.poemsbynewyorkers.com) and where we talked briefly about her interest in climate change. 

Alex Freid is Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Post-Landfill Action Network in Dover, NH where and the team are working to "cultivate, educate, and inspire the student-lead zero-waste movement." While we were in Dover he took some time to share the story of his personal development and why he was driven to start a non-profit devoted to zero-waste activism. 

Aryn Aiken is a summer intern at the Post Landfill Action Network. When we were biking through Dover, NH she took some time to tell us why she was passionate about the work she was doing-- to create a zero waste society.
